Καὶ προσελθόντες οἱ μαθηταὶ ἤγειραν αὐτὸν λέγοντες· Κύριε, σῶσον ἡμᾶς, ἀπολλύμεθα.
And the disciples came to wake him up, saying, “Lord, save us, we are perishing!”
Gospel According To Matthew
And the disciples came to wake him up, saying, “Lord, save us, we are perishing!”
And behold, there arose a great storm in the sea, so that the boat was swamped by the waves, but he was sleeping.
And when he entered into the boat, his disciples followed him.
But Iesus said to him, “Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”
And another of his disciples said to him, “Lord, permit me first to go and bury my father.”
And Jesus said to him, “The foxes have holes and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.”
And a certain Scribe came and said to him, “Teacher, I will follow you wherever you got.”
Now when Iesus saw great crowds around him, he gave order to cross to the other side.
That it might be fulfilled what was spoken through Isaiah the Prophet, saying, “He himself took our infirmities, and carried our sicknesses.”
When evening came, they brought to him many who were demon-possessed, and he cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick.
