Gospel According To Matthew
And when he entered into Capernaum, a centurion came to him, beseeching him,
And Iesus said to him, “See that you tell no one, but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.”
And Iesus stretched out his hand, touched him, saying, ‘I am willing. Be clean.’ And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
And behold a leper came to bow down to him, saying, ‘Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.’
And when he came down from the mountain, large crowds followed him.
For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the Scribes.
And it came to pass, when Iesus finished these words, the people were astonished at his teaching.
And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat on that house, and it fell, and great was its fall.
And everyone who hears these words of mine, and does not do them will be likened to a foolish man who built his house on the sand.
And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat on that house, and yet it did not fall, because it was founded on the rock.
