Τότε Ἡρώδης ἰδὼν ὅτι ἐνεπαίχθη ὑπὸ τῶν μάγων ἐθυμώθη λίαν· καὶ ἀποστείλας ἀνεῖλε πάντας τοὺς παῖδας τοὺς ἐν Βηθλεὲμ καὶ ἐν πᾶσι τοῖς ὁρίοις αὐτῆς ἀπὸ διετοῦς καὶ κατωτέρω· κατὰ τὸν χρόνον ὃν ἠκρίβωσε παρὰ τῶν μάγων.
Then Herod, when he saw that he had been tricked by the Magi, he was very angry, and he sent forth, and kill all the boys who were in Bethlehem and all its vicinity, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had enquired from the Magi.

And when they were gone, behold, an angel of the LORD appeared to Ioseph in a dream, saying, “Arise, take the child and his mother, and flee into Egypt; and stay there until I tell you; for Herod will search for the child to destroy him.”

and he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, “Go and search diligently for the young child; and when you have found him, report back to me, so that I too may come and worship him.”
