Ἦν δὲ μακρὰν ἀπ’ αὐτῶν ἀγέλη χοίρων πολλῶν βοσκομένη·
And at some distance from them, there was a herd of many pigs feeding.

And behold, they cried out, saying, “What do we have to do with you, Iesus, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?”
And when he came to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, two demoniacs met him, coming out of the tombs, so ill-tempered that no one could pass by that way.
But the men were amazed, saying, “Who is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him?”
And he said to them, “Why are you fearful, you of little faith?” Then he arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.
And the disciples came to wake him up, saying, “Lord, save us, we are perishing!”
And behold, there arose a great storm in the sea, so that the boat was swamped by the waves, but he was sleeping.
And when he entered into the boat, his disciples followed him.
But Iesus said to him, “Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”
And another of his disciples said to him, “Lord, permit me first to go and bury my father.”
